Showing hosts what their AI can do with their own data.

Hospitable launched an MCP connection that lets hosts plug their property data into ChatGPT or Claude. We made a one-minute explainer and a 30-second short that show what that looks like in practice, one host question at a time.

A powerful feature with a name most hosts have never heard.

MCP is the standard that lets AI assistants connect to other software. For Hospitable, it means a host can connect their reservations, calendars, guests and revenue to ChatGPT or Claude and ask questions in plain English. That’s a big deal for a host, but “MCP connection” doesn’t explain it to anyone.

The video had to skip the protocol and show the payoff.

We built it around the questions hosts actually ask.

The explainer opens on a simple question, “Ever asked your PMS…”, switches the connection on, then moves through real use cases: finding gaps in the calendar, drafting an invitation to fill a three-night opening, winning back past guests, personalizing arrivals and building custom reports. Each one starts with a plain-English request and ends with something the host can review and send.

Every screen was designed in Hospitable’s brand, with the interface simplified so each step reads at a glance and fictional properties and guests throughout.

  • One-minute product explainer

  • 30-second companion short

  • Simplified UI design with fictional data

  • Motion design and animation

One story, two lengths.

The 30-second short tightens the same idea into a single use case: find the open nights on your calendar, match them with past guests worth inviting back, and send a personal invitation. The host still makes the final call. It’s built for the places where a full minute is too long.
